The purpose of this section is to provide districts and charters with support from their neighbors.

We are going to engage in some modified "speed-dating."


  • Visit the link below to visit a Google Doc that correlates with each section of the rubric you just completed. Enter your district/charter name for each of the sections of the rubric where you were in the green or blue column. You may also add a contact person from your district/charter. Include their email address or phone number.
  • You are getting ready to send some of your team members to other districts/charters to learn about their successes. Others will stay at your table to discuss your district/charter successes. Decide who will stay at the table for each of the 3 rounds to share with others. You may want to make this a different person or people each time so that all team members have an opportunity to move around the room.
  • Spend a few minutes thinking about how you will share your successes with others. Put together a list of links, etc. that may be helpful to others.
  • Discuss at your table which items and districts/charters you will visit to get suggestions on how to improve in your red/yellow areas.


  • You will have an opportunity to visit districts in 3 different rotations. Each rotation will last 8 minutes with a 2 minute reflection at the end. In order to organize your thoughts, we have provided an OPTIONAL note-taking guide, the Collaboration Reflection. You can use this Collaboration Reflection when you share out with your district at the end of this activity if you would like.

  • Once you have returned to your table, you will take time to share what you learned with your teammates. You will have about 15 minutes to discuss.
