The North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards 1-5 are high stakes measures of teacher effectiveness. Designing professional learning that ensures that teachers have a depth of knowledge around standards 1-5 of the rubric contributes to an educator's effectiveness. Planning for the professional growth of every educator in the LEA/Charter is an essential tenant in the growth model.
